Say goodbye to pens and paper, and hello to HiMama; a life-changing app for early childhood educators and parents.

This application makes documentation a whole lot easier. Early childhood educators can input everything that is usually in those beat up binders, and more. This app allows ECE’s to enter each child’s attendance, toileting, meal, snack, and nap information. On top of this, educators can also upload the programming for each day/week, and meal/snack menus. HiMama creates profiles for each child that contains crucial information such as emergency contact numbers, allergies, medications, etc. It even allows parents/educators to upload an image of the child, in case a supply needs to quickly identify someone. There is a section that enables ECE’s to input each child’s temperament, skills they have learned, or any accidents that might have happened. All of this information gets sent to parent’s e-mails, so that they get notified right away. Lastly, HiMama sends out reminders to parents, for example, if a child needs an extra change of clothes, or more diapers. If parents wish to receive paper copies of their child’s documentation, there is an option to print.

Overall, this app allows early childhood educators to easily collect data throughout the day, and lets parents receive information about their child even before arriving at the centre.
