Marble-Run Experience
This constructivist-based activity was challenging yet valuable. The lack of materials made it difficult at times, which then required our group to problem solve and work together. Group members started lending their own belongings (water bottles, backpacks, binders, etc.) to help construct the marble run. Everyone’s ideas were tested out, and all group members were supportive. Our first successful run can be seen in the video below. As you can see, I was thrilled when it actually worked. After this successful attempt, we decided to add on to our marble run. This was by far my favourite lab; it was educational, engaging, and entertaining!
